One of the colorful figures in the world of technology, Elon Musk, invited Mark Zuckerberg to a cage fight last month. Recently, Musk announced on Twitter that he would be doing a live broadcast for the cage fight, but now he has come into the spotlight with a new statement.
Elon Musk: “I want a noble debate instead of a cage fight.”
Speaking about the cage fight in recent days, Musk stated that before setting a date, he needs to have his neck and upper back examined. Making the announcement on Twitter, Musk stated, “I need to have an examination before the fight takes place. Surgery may be necessary; my health condition will be known this week.”
TED curator Chris Anderson pointed out that the tension between the two billionaires could also be resolved through a civil debate. Anderson tweeted on Tuesday, “Here’s a better idea: You can discuss how to build an amazing future.”
Musk’s mother, who made statements about the cage fight a few months ago, emphasized that both sides should fight with words only. Maye Musk, who received tweets on the subject, said, “Just three questions. The one with the funniest answers wins. Who’s with me on this?”
Zuckerberg has not yet responded to Musk’s statement. It is expected that the two will make a joint announcement regarding the cage fight in the near future.
