Compared to Steam, the Epic Games Store, notable for its competitive pricing and free games, continues to delight its users. The platform, which offers one or more free games every week, also offers two new games to add to your library this week.
Epic Games Announces Free Games of the Week
This week’s free games from Epic Games are Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture. Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge is a farming and simulation game filled with adorable frogs. Strange Horticulture is a hand-drawn mystery game where players run a plant shop, requiring plenty of observation and choice. These two games will be free from August 21st to August 28th.
There are also the free games from the previous week, Hidden Folks and Totally Reliable Delivery Service, which you should add to your library before August 21st.
Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture will be leaving the libraries on August 28th, and the new games that will replace them are already in high demand. Epic Games hasn’t yet announced next week’s free games.
However, the platform is known to offer players different genres each week. Therefore, after this week’s simulation and mystery games, next week’s games may offer a different experience. Players can add these two games to their libraries for free until Thursday, August 28th.
To add Epic Games’ free games to your library, first log in with your Epic Games account. Then, simply go to the game page you want to purchase and click the “Install” button. This will permanently add the games to your library.
