Epic Games recently launched its own app store for Android and iOS.Accordingly, the Epic Games Store on macOS and Windows has expanded to mobile. It has now added games from 19 different developers as well as its own games to the platform.

The expansion of the app store represents a significant shift in the company’s mobile strategy. Having previously only focused on its own titles such as Fortnite, Fall Guys and Rocket League Sideswipe, Epic Games will now support third-party titles.
With this expansion, Epic Games has also launched a free game campaign on mobile. The first free game will be Amplitude Studios’ roguelike Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee. After the campaign, which runs until February 20, Bloons TD 6 will be the free game of the week.

New games on the Epic Games Store include Evoland 2, Hidden Folks, Idle Champions, Samorost 2 and 3, Super Meat Boy Forever, and more. The app is available worldwide on Android devices. iOS users in the European Union can also access the store.
The update also brings some new features. It will now be possible to permanently sign in with Epic Games accounts on both iOS and Android devices.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said, “We’re bringing third-party games to our store to give players more choice and freedom to discover and access games on the go. The free game campaign is just the beginning, and we’ll make it a regular weekly event, just like on PC.”
