Exciting addition for The Last of Us season 2!
The highly anticipated second season of The Last of Us series increased expectations even more with the participation of four successful directors. The director of Loki is among the directors who will join the cast of The Last of Us season 2.
Loki, Succesion, Perry Mason and Watchmen directors join The Last of Us season 2 team
New directors include Mark Mylod, who recently won the Outstanding Drama Directing Emmy for Succession, Nina Lopez-Corrado, known for her work on Perry Mason, Stephen Williams, who was acclaimed for his direction of Watchmen, and Kate Herron, director of the first season of Loki.
According to Deadline, these directors will add their own perspectives to season 2 of The Last of Us. Peter Hoar, the Emmy-nominated director of the first season, is also scheduled to return. Producers Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann will also contribute to shaping the series by directing one episode each.
The cast of the second season expands even more with the addition of important names such as Isabela Merced, Kaitlyn Dever and Young Mazino. Isabela Merced will play Dina, Kaitlyn Dever will take on the role of Abby, and Young Mazino will play Jesse.
When is The Last of Us season 2? (All known)
The story of season 2 is expected to follow the story of Last of Us Part 2 and tell about 18-year-old Ellie, who steps into adulthood after the events of Part 1. Main actors Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal will reprise their roles.
