First Details About Bill Hader’s New Series Revealed
Bill Hader summarizes the official script for the yet-to-be-named project with the following line: “A woman in a small town has a big secret that is revealed, and events unfold…” It is also noted that Hader and Boudreau will serve as co-writers and executive producers on the project.
Boudreau, who had the opportunity to collaborate with Hader on the HBO series Barry, served as a writer and executive producer for the show. The duo also co-wrote several episodes of Documentary Now.
Among Boudreau’s other works are Netflix’s animated series Big Mouth and Hulu’s animated series Hit-Monkey. He received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for the “710N” episode of the third season, along with Hader and Barry co-creator Alec Berg.
Bill Hader starred in Barry for four seasons, and the beloved series concluded in 2023. It’s worth mentioning that Hader received a total of 16 Emmy nominations for his performance in Barry, four of which were for “Outstanding Comedy Series.” He also earned two nominations for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” in 2018 and 2019.
