We have some exciting news for Tesla owners. The Tesla Diner, which looks like it’s straight out of a 1950s American film, is almost here. But will these diners be exclusively for Tesla owners? What is Elon Musk up to? Here are the details…
Tesla Diner Restaurants: It Feels Like the 1950s!
Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2023 and subsequently retired the blue bird logo, renaming the platform to X. While users still refer to it as “Twitter,” the official name is now X. This rebranding led to some user losses, compounded by alternative platforms like Threads, which, although not significantly successful, did cause some decline in user numbers. Musk promised to rejuvenate the platform, saying things like “We will bring it back to life, believe me, folks!”
In the wake of these events, the Tesla Diner idea emerged. Tesla, known for its “lifestyle” products such as mugs, t-shirts, shorts, and even flamethrowers, is now expanding into diners where Tesla owners can gather.
You might recall that we reported on these claims when they first surfaced, but no concrete steps had been taken. Now, real progress has been made. Tesla has posted job listings on its LinkedIn page for positions like Experience Expert, related to the diner project. These roles involve working with various Tesla teams and handling everything from design studios and product interfaces to new menu offerings and selling Tesla products.
No details have been released about the location of the first diner yet.
