Exynos 2600 Specifications Leaked: Will the Galaxy S26 Fall Behind?

The specifications of the Samsung Exynos 2600, expected to power the Galaxy S26 series, have been revealed. Leaked CPU and GPU details are in our news report.

The first details about the Exynos 2600, expected to be used in the Galaxy S26 series, have been leaked. According to information from a reliable source, Samsung’s new chipset comes with a 10-core CPU and an AMD-based GPU. This leak offers important clues about the performance of the next-generation Galaxy phones.

According to Ice Universe, who leaked the information, the Exynos 2600 is being developed using 2nm manufacturing technology. The chipset is said to have a 10-core CPU. One cluster of these cores will run at 3.9GHz, another at 3.25GHz, and a third cluster at 2.75GHz.

These clock speeds may lag behind competitors like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and MediaTek Dimensity 9500. However, they are higher than Google’s Tensor G5 processor’s peak speed of 3.78GHz. However, a processor’s performance isn’t solely dependent on clock speed; factors like core architecture and cache size also play a significant role. Therefore, the real-world performance of Samsung’s new chip is a matter of curiosity.

    Graphics Performance and Vulkan Support
On the graphics side, the leak points to an AMD JUNO GPU running at 985MHz. This is thought to be a codename, similar to previous Xclipse GPUs, and will likely be called Xclipse 960. It’s also stated that the chipset supports Vulkan 1.3. This could be a slight disappointment, as it might lack the performance and faster loading times offered by Vulkan 1.4.
