OnePlus has released its first software update less than 24 hours after the launch of its flagship phone, the OnePlus 15. The company is rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.1.303 in both India and the European Union (EU). The update is being rolled out as CPH2745_16.0.1.303(EX01) in India and CPH2747_16.0.1.303(EX01) in the EU. OnePlus stated that the rollout has begun gradually and will reach a wider audience in the coming days.
Security and Performance-Focused Improvements
This first update includes the November 2025 Android security patch and a number of functional changes. OnePlus has focused specifically on improving app launch speeds from the home screen, introducing new customization options, and improving the system’s security and network features.

Users can now adjust the clock size when editing certain Flux themes, rename widgets, and stack widgets of the same size by dragging them on top of each other. The Photos app received a small but useful improvement, gaining automatic straightening for portrait and architectural shots when cropping or rotating.
The update also added the option to set videos as ringtones. Phone Manager now scans for threats faster. A glowing effect has been added to the “Ring” fingerprint animation on the lock screen.
OnePlus has added a new interface for its AI LinkBoost Network Engine on the network side. Users can now check how many network optimizations have been implemented and view detailed information about the reduction in latency. Real-time alerts for network acceleration will be displayed when the phone detects poor connectivity. The update also includes tools for testing network speed, latency, and upload/download rates.
OnePlus notes that OTA (over-the-air update) rollouts may arrive at different times depending on the region. The company reminded users in India that they can report their device issues directly from the Error Report section on the OnePlus Community App or through the feedback tool by dialing *#800#.
