A while ago, rumors surfaced that Xbox wanted to bring its exclusive games to rival platforms such as the PlayStation 5. Among the games to be offered in this context were productions such as Starfield and Indiana Jones. Recent reports revealed the first Xbox games coming to PlayStation 5.
Xbox event will open the door to PlayStation 5
The future of the console will be discussed at the upcoming Xbox event. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer is also expected to announce that some Xbox games will be released on PlayStation 5 and other platforms.
According to emerging reports, the first Xbox exclusive games coming to PlayStation 5 have also leaked. In this context, two small Xbox games published by Bethesda will be distributed first. Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush will be the first titles to appear on rival consoles like the PS5.
Released in late 2022, Pentiment is a medieval mystery game, while Hi-Fi Rush is a music-driven action game that made waves with its release in 2023.
Starfield was also rumored to be coming to PS5 under previous claims. However, it was stated that it will be expanded to different platforms with the Shattered Space expansion pack. It should be noted that this package has not yet been announced and will not be released until the end of the year.
Multiplayer game Sea of Thieves is also reportedly coming to non-Xbox platforms later this year. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is also planned to remain exclusive to Xbox for a while after its release and then come to PS5. However, some titles that have been monopolized by Microsoft for years, such as Halo, will not be offered to PlayStation.
