POCO is preparing to launch its new flagship killer models, the Poco F6 series. According to the latest rumors and certifications, the POCO F6 and F6 Pro launch seems to be quite close.
POCO F6 and F6 Pro could be out in April
The affordable POCO F6 is rumored to be powered by the yet-to-be-released Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 2 (SM8635) chipset. Qualcomm is expected to unveil its new mid-range flagship chip on March 18.
Following the announcement, Chinese manufacturers such as Redmi and POCO will likely unveil their first phones with this chipset. The POCO F6 is also rumored to have the model number 24069PC21G/I and is a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
The high-end POCO F6 Pro will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Some reports have also suggested that it could be a renamed Redmi K70 for China with model number 24069PC21C.
Previous models like the POCO F5 have been popular for their strong price-performance balance. The upcoming F6 series aims to continue the ‘flagship killer’ tradition.
It has become a habit for Xiaomi to include the previous year’s flagship processor in the POCO F series. According to expectations, on the screen side, POCO F6 features will include FHD + AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 + support. It is among the expectations that the selfie camera will come in a perforated form.
