Ford Trucks officially entered the electrification era in the heavy commercial vehicle segment with the F-Line E, its all-electric truck model, unveiled at the Solutrans 2025 trade fair. Developed by Ford Otosan and to be produced in Turkey alongside the flagship F-Max, the F-Line E was unveiled to the European public with detailed technical specifications at the fair.
F-Line E unveiled
The 6×2 axle version of the F-Line E on display carries a gross vehicle weight of 26 tons and features a refrigerated chassis designed by Lamberet. This version uses a ZF electric motor. The motor produces 310 kW continuous power and 390 kW maximum power.

The vehicle’s battery capacity consists of four separate packs. Each pack has a capacity of 98 kWh, providing a total usable capacity of 314 kWh. Thanks to the batteries integrated into the sides of the chassis, the 6×2 version offers a driving range of up to 300 kilometers.
The F-Line E is also available in a second, 19-ton version with a 4×2 axle layout. The engine output in this smaller version is modified, delivering 235 kW continuous and 290 kW maximum power.
The battery capacity is also reduced in this version, with a usable capacity of 235 kWh. This capacity reduces the range of the 4×2 version to 250 kilometers.
Ford Otosan also stands out with the charging times of its electric trucks. The 6×2 version supports DC fast charging up to 285 kW, while the 4×2 version accepts DC fast charging up to 213 kW.
In both versions, the battery charge time from 20% to 80% is stated to be less than 45 minutes. These features make the F-Line E competitive in the electric heavy commercial vehicle market.
