Ford Trucks has introduced the refreshed version of the F-MAX, the benchmark model for the heavy commercial vehicle market. Developed and manufactured in Turkey by Ford Otosan engineers, the new F-MAX was unveiled at the Sancaktepe R&D Center. The F-MAX, which won the 2019 International Truck of the Year (ITOY) award, will be available in Turkey and abroad starting in October with its most efficient, comfortable, and technologically advanced version featuring the Ecotorq GEN2 engine, in addition to interior and exterior design updates.

What does the F-MAX offer?

Thanks to the Ecotorq Gen2 engine, whose intellectual property rights are fully owned by Ford Otosan and produced at the Eskişehir plant, the new F-MAX offers fuel efficiency of up to 11.3%, high performance, durability, and efficiency.

The F-MAX’s updated front grille integrates with the body, giving the vehicle a modern and streamlined appearance. The Digital Mirror System further enhances improved aerodynamic efficiency and maximizes driving safety with Sentinel Mode. The black-rimmed headlights, standard on the new Ford Trucks F-MAX, further enhance its elegance and functionality.

The 12-inch Digital Instrument Display and 12.4-inch Multimedia Display allow drivers to customize the theme and information flow, while new features such as a wireless charging compartment, electronic parking brake, and keyless ignition enhance daily driving comfort. Furthermore, the addition of Max Security Lock provides additional security for both the driver and the vehicle when parking.

Among the features that enhance the superior driving pleasure and safety offered by the new F-MAX is the advanced Voice Assistant technology, which can receive commands in 13 languages. Voice Assistant, which can be activated with four different commands, allows the driver to control many functions, such as air conditioning, music, radio, and phone, with voice commands. The 7-inch touchscreen control unit next to the bed allows drivers to easily access these functions even while resting.
