GAC has officially launched the Aion UT, the third global model of Aion, on February 28. This car is available in five different equipment options offering a range of 330 km and 420 km, and its price range varies between 69,800 and 101,800 yuan ($9,600 – $14,000).

The Aion UT stands out with its contrasting floating roof design. It features 19 LED daytime running lights at the front, a D-shaped headlight design, and C-shaped rear taillights. The car is 4270 mm long, 1850 mm wide, and 1575 mm high, while its wheelbase is 2750 mm.
The entry-level and mid-level trims use 16-inch wheels, while the upper-level trims use 17-inch wheels. Users can choose from six different exterior color options: red, silver, white, beige, purple and green.
The car has a 100 kW (134 hp) front electric motor. Depending on the equipment, batteries with a capacity of 34,868 kWh, 44,257 kWh, 44.12 kWh or 44,133 kWh are offered. In addition, the Aion UT has two different CLTC ranges: 330 km and 420 km.
While its top speed was determined as 150 km/h, the deer test speed was measured as 75 km/h. According to WLTC standards, the average energy consumption per 100 km is 11.4 kWh. Thanks to fast charging support, the battery level can reach from 30% to 80% in just 24 minutes.
The interior features a 14.6-inch central control screen, 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel and round air vents. It offers HiCar, CarLink and CarPlay support. The system also includes an AI-supported voice assistant.
While the highest equipment level includes Level 2 advanced driving assistance systems and ambient lighting, all models come standard with OTA updates, in-car WiFi, two to six speakers and remote mobile control features.
The luggage volume is determined as 440 liters, while a wide field of vision is provided thanks to the 1.8 x 1.77 meter panoramic sunroof. The front seats can be fully folded. It was also announced that the front seat heating system can reach from 0°C to 20°C in just 30 seconds.
