The Galaxy Ring 2 will come with a solid-state battery

While the battery life of the first generation Galaxy Ring was around 7 days, the battery life of the Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to be much longer. Samsung aims to reach an energy density of 360Wh/L instead of 200Wh/L in the new model. This means a serious leap in terms of battery life.
Samsung’s solid-state batteries are developed by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and this technology will not be limited to the Galaxy Ring 2. It is stated that it will be used in other wearable devices such as Galaxy Buds (2026) and Galaxy Watch (2027) in the coming years.
However, the production costs of solid-state batteries are high, which may increase the price of the Galaxy Ring 2. The first generation Galaxy Ring was sold for around $ 370, which means that the price of the new model may be higher.
