The countdown has begun for Samsung’s highly anticipated new smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge. While the model was showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, its technical specifications and release date remain unclear. However, periodic reports help clear up any uncertainties.
Galaxy S25 Edge spotted on Geekbench
The Galaxy S25 Edge has appeared on the Geekbench database with the model number SM-S937N. Some of the technical features of the device, which scored 2,806 in single-core tests and 8,416 in multi-core tests, have been indirectly clarified.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor and will come with 12GB of RAM. It is also important to note that other memory configurations may be available. Out of the box, it will run on Android 15.
According to previous reports, the smartphone’s dimensions will be 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84 mm, making it even thinner than initial claims suggesting a 6.4 mm thickness. Additionally, it will be equipped with a 3,900mAh battery and will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The device will feature the 200 MP ISOCELL HP2 main camera, the same one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Additionally, it will include a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor. On the display side, users can expect a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of brightness.
According to reliable industry sources, the model is expected to launch in April or May. Finally, it is important to note that all these details are based on leaks, and waiting for an official announcement from the South Korean brand would be more accurate.
