Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra will have shorter battery life than their predecessors. Information found in Europe’s EPREL database indicates that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra’s battery is rated for only 1,200 charge cycles.
This is lower than the 2,000 cycles specified for last year’s Galaxy Tab S10 series
On paper, the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra will offer 81 and 95 hours of daily use on a single charge, respectively. However, the reduced cycle count means the battery may need to be replaced much sooner than in previous models.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series will feature features such as 11-inch and 14.6-inch AMOLED displays, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, and up to 16GB of RAM. The devices will also be IP68 water and dust resistant. However, EPREL data reveals that the tablets have a “C” repairability rating and an “E” drop resistance rating.
In comparison, the more affordable Galaxy Tab S10 Lite maintains its 2,000-cycle battery rating and offers 88 hours of use on a single charge. However, this model features an LCD display and the Exynos 1380 chipset.
The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to be unveiled around September, in line with last year’s schedule.
