Samsung is reintroducing the Galaxy Watch Classic series, known for its rotating bezel, to users after a year. The new model ‘Galaxy Watch8 Classic’, which the company is working on, was recently detected in the Bluetooth SIG database with the model number SM-L505U.
Galaxy Watch Classic is officially coming back
A ‘Classic’ variant was not offered between the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra models introduced in 2024, which caused the reaction of users who preferred the rotating bezel. Now Samsung is taking a step to fill the gap in this segment again. The new Galaxy Watch8 Classic is scheduled to be introduced in early July along with the standard Galaxy Watch8.

Previously, in another leaked certificate in April, it was stated that the Galaxy Watch8 model would have a slightly larger battery compared to its predecessor. This battery increase is expected to include the Classic version.
On the other hand, it is stated that the new model will have improvements in areas such as health tracking, software efficiency and durability. However, we can say that details on these issues are limited for now. During the introduction of the Galaxy Watch8 Classic, Samsung is likely to announce the foldable phone models Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7.
As the launch in July approaches, more information and visual leaks about the device are expected to emerge. So what do you think about this device? Do you use a smartwatch in your daily life? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
