Xiaomi has officially launched its second-generation clamshell foldable phone, the Mix Flip 2. The device introduces notable upgrades in display, performance, battery, and design, making it the most advanced flip model the brand has produced so far. It also marks a first in the segment by offering a battery capacity exceeding 5000mAh. Here’s everything the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 brings to the table!
What Does the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Offer?
The Mix Flip 2 retains the dual-display structure from its predecessor, but both panels have been enhanced in terms of brightness, durability, and usability. The outer display measures 4.01 inches, reaches up to 3200 nits brightness, and uses AMOLED technology. It supports over 500 optimized apps, allowing users to fully utilize functions such as messaging, maps, payments, and video playback directly from the cover screen.

The inner display boasts 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 460 PPI pixel density, and comes with eye protection certifications.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset, the Mix Flip 2 becomes the first in its segment to feature a dual vapor chamber cooling system. This system, placed beneath the motherboard and lower chassis, helps maintain high performance during intensive tasks.
In terms of photography, the phone features two 50 MP Leica-branded rear sensors. The main sensor is a Light Hunter 800 with an f/1.7 aperture, 2x optical-quality zoom, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The secondary sensor offers a 115° ultra-wide angle. The camera system supports 4K/60fps video, Dolby Vision, and macro photography up to 10 cm. On the front, there is a 32 MP selfie camera.
The Mix Flip 2 is equipped with a 5165mAh battery containing 10% silicon, offering an energy density of 843Wh/L. According to Xiaomi, this provides up to 0.45 days longer battery life than the iPhone 16 Pro in typical usage. It supports 67W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
