The eagerly awaited Galaxy Z Flip7, with its slogan “Pocket-Perfect AI,” has been officially unveiled by Samsung enthusiasts. The Z Flip 7, which stands out with its foldable design, enhanced displays, and powerful hardware, aims to elevate the user experience, particularly with its integration of artificial intelligence.
One of the Galaxy Z Flip7’s most striking features is its completely redesigned FlexWindow outer display. Now with much thinner bezels, this display offers a nearly full-size usable area, excluding the camera bump on the back cover. This expanded outer display makes functions like viewing notifications, using widgets, and even taking selfies much easier and more convenient. Its bright and vibrant “Coral-red” color is also striking. While similar to the Xiaomi Mix Flip, the Z Flip 7’s outer display boasts a brightness of up to 2600 nits, ensuring superior visibility even when used outdoors.
The phone’s inner display features a 6.9-inch FHD+ (2520 × 1080, 21:9) Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. A 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate delivers a smooth visual experience. The cover display is a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED (948×1048, 342 ppi) display, now featuring a 120Hz refresh rate (up from 60Hz on the previous model).
The Galaxy Z Flip7 folds easily into your pocket. When folded, the device measures 75.2×85.5×13.7mm, and when unfolded, it expands to a thin 75.2×166.7×6.5mm. Weighing just 188 grams, it’s also very easy to carry.
Significant strides have been made in durability. The Z Flip 7 offers enhanced protection against water and dust with an IP48 rating. Reinforced with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides, the device’s frame is made of Armor Aluminum, providing additional resistance against drops and scratches.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 also boasts features that will delight its users. The rear camera setup features a 50MP wide-angle main lens (F1.8, OIS, 1.0µm, Dual Pixel AF, 85°) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (F2.2, 1.12µm, 123°).
The selfie camera has a resolution of 10MP (F2.2, 85°). However, most users benefit from the enhanced external display, allowing them to see themselves using the rear cameras and take higher-quality selfies.
At the heart of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 (3nm) processor. This next-generation chip offers significant improvements for AI tasks and overall performance. Users can choose between 12GB of RAM + 256GB or 12GB of RAM + 512GB of storage, depending on their needs.
There are also improvements in battery life. The 4300mAh battery provides enough power for all-day use. Additionally, thanks to 25W wired fast charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and PowerShare, you can quickly charge your device and other compatible devices.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes out of the box with Android 16 and Samsung’s customized interface, One UI 8. This combination promises a smooth and user-friendly experience. Connectivity options include 5G / LTE / Wi-Fi 7 / BT 5.4.
