A new GameSir controller officially certified for iPhone and iPad is about to drop. Slated for release on December 21, this marks the first time GameSir will launch an MFi-certified controller, bringing Apple-approved performance to the brand’s growing catalog of mobile accessories.
GameSir controller brings official iOS support at last

GameSir has released plenty of multi-platform controllers over the years, but this is the first time one has received Apple’s Made for iPhone/iPad (MFi) certification. That badge ensures reliable performance and seamless compatibility with iOS devices something that’s been missing from the lineup until now.
According to GameSir’s teaser on social media, the controller will also support Android, making it a true cross-platform accessory for mobile gaming.
GameSir controller design teased ahead of launch
In its most recent teaser, GameSir revealed a partial view of the upcoming controller. It appears to follow the telescopic design seen in the GameSir G8 Plus, wrapping around smartphones horizontally. The preview image shows a clean white and gray color scheme, textured grips, and what look to be stacked shoulder buttons likely aimed at competitive mobile players.
While Bluetooth connectivity seems almost certain, the design may include a USB-C option for wired low-latency input.
GameSir controller expands mobile gaming ecosystem
This release isn’t just about filling a gap in GameSir’s portfolio. It’s timed strategically before CES 2026, where the company plans to showcase more hardware including a rumored racing wheel.
By adding official MFi support, the GameSir controller stands to become a go-to option for iPhone and iPad users who want more tactile control in their mobile games.
Here’s what we know so far:
- MFi-certified for iPhone and iPad
- Android compatibility confirmed
- Telescopic design, similar to G8 Plus
- Textured grips and dual shoulder buttons
- Launch date: December 21, 2025
CES 2026 will bring more from GameSir
While this MFi-certified GameSir controller lands just before the holidays, the company isn’t done yet. At CES 2026, GameSir plans to unveil another controller likely a racing wheel based on leaks. That would mark a new direction for the brand, expanding into sim-focused gear.
One more controller, many more options
The new GameSir controller could finally deliver the seamless iOS gaming experience Apple users have been waiting for. And if the rest of GameSir’s CES plans follow suit, 2026 may be the year they move from third-party accessory maker to must-watch hardware player.
