General Mobile, which continues its efforts in the smartphone market without slowing down, recently introduced the GM Phoenix 5G model that will compete for the top ranks with its technical specifications and design. The GM Phoenix 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz dynamic screen refresh rate. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner, which serves as a security method, is positioned under the screen, similar to high-end models.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. Manufactured using a 6 nm fabrication process, this chipset hosts 2x 2.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and 6x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with the Mali-G68 MC4 graphics unit. Furthermore, the device incorporates liquid cooling technology to keep heating to a minimum during gaming.
The device boasts a 200-megapixel Matrix camera. Equipped with features like Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Quick Phase Detection Autofocus (QPDAF), the camera can record 4K videos and has an aperture of f/1.88.
The smartphone includes a 4,700 mAh battery that can charge at speeds of up to 66W. The company’s claim is that the device can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that the device will run Android 13 straight out of the box.
