Ghost of Yotei exceeds expectations
The PlayStation 5 version of Ghost of Yotei has achieved a Metacritic score of 87 based on 106 reviews shared on Metacritic. The game has received positive reviews from some publications, including Digital Trends, VGC, and Game Rant, who gave it a 100 score, while Game Informer gave it a 93 score and IGN an 80.
Other notable review scores include Atomix with a 95 score, Push Square with a 90 score, GameSpot with a 90 score, GamingBolt with a 90 score, and TechRadar Gaming with a 90 score. However, Eurogamer’s 60 score is noteworthy.
The game’s story takes place 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima. In this action-adventure game set in the 1600s, you control Atsu, who embarks on a perilous journey to find the people who murdered his family.
Ghost of Yotei, which has also garnered attention due to its price tag, was made available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store a few weeks ago. The standard version of the game is priced at 3,449 TL, while the Digital Deluxe version, which offers various perks, is priced at 3,849 TL.
The highly anticipated Ghost of Yotei will be available for PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. The previous game in the series, Ghost of Tsushima, was released for PlayStation 4 in 2020, PlayStation 5 in 2021, and PC in 2024. However, it remains to be seen whether Ghost of Yotei will be released for PC in the coming years.
