The much-anticipated news has arrived for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which brings the Assassin’s Creed series back to its roots and has been highly acclaimed by players! The development team has announced the “Valley of Memory” expansion pack, which will bring a whole new dimension to the game. The best news is that this DLC will be completely free for all Mirage owners!
Mark your calendars now, because this exciting adventure will launch simultaneously on all platforms on November 18, 2025.
All-New Adventures with Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory
This free expansion pack not only adds several missions to the game but also introduces a brand new region to explore. Players will travel to the historical region of AlUla, located on a key trade route during the Golden Age of the Abbasid Empire. The development team has meticulously worked with archaeologists and historians to recreate this historic region as accurately as it would have in the 9th century.
On the story front, we will embark on a journey into the past of our main character, Basim. Valley of Memory will tell a brand new story about Basim’s search for his father. You can watch the video released for this announcement below.
Valley of Memory doesn’t just offer a new map and story. Many new features and gameplay dynamics are also being added to the game, in response to player requests. Here are the main improvements the pack will bring:
- Mission Replay: One of the most requested features from players! Now you can replay completed missions whenever you want.
- New Equipment Level: A new level of enhancement will be added to the tools and equipment we use.
- Enhanced Parkour: New parkour abilities, such as manual jumping, are being introduced to navigate the rocky terrain of AlUla more easily, unlike the flat roofs of Baghdad.
- New Enemy Faction: A new “Robbers” faction has been added, which we will encounter during our adventure.
- New Contracts and Side Quests: In addition to the main story, players will also find many new content waiting to be completed in the AlUla region.
There were no plans for DLC at launch. However, the positive reception and attention Assassin’s Creed Mirage has received has prompted the development team to create this free content as a thank you to players.
So, what do you think of this free expansion? Are you excited to embark on new adventures with Basim in the deserts of AlUla? We look forward to your comments!
