OPPO began working on adding a compact model to its Find X8 series, launched in October. Sources suggest the device will be called the Find X8 Mini. So, what exactly will the smartphone offer?
What will OPPO Find X8 Mini offer?
Renowned industry leaker Digital Chat Station shared new details about the OPPO Find X8 Mini. According to the information, the smartphone will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
The model is expected to come with a Sony IMX9 series main camera and a 50MP periscope camera. For security, it will have an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The device is said to have a metal frame with a glass back panel and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. Built on a 3nm architecture, this chipset includes:
- 1x 3.63 GHz ARM Cortex-X925 core
- 3x 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 cores
- 4x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores
- Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU
The launch date of the smartphone has not yet been revealed, but reports suggest it will be showcased alongside the Find X8 Ultra in late June.
