Many iPhone users naturally use Apple’s own Safari browser on their phones. However, Google has made a significant update to the Chrome application for devices running the iOS operating system. This update may change the minds of iPhone users.
Google Chrome comes with several updates
With the new update, Google Chrome has become much more appealing to iPhone users. Google has updated the Chrome application to make it more compatible with Calendar, Translate, and Lens services. Additionally, iPhone users can now experience a mini Maps application with Chrome.
Google aims to provide faster service through the browser with the new update. The browser now uses artificial intelligence technology to detect addresses on web pages, and when an address is pressed and held, it will offer the option “View in Google Maps with Chrome.” With this new feature, a mini Google Maps service will appear within Chrome.
Similarly, when a specific date is pressed and held on Chrome, the option “Add to Google Calendar” will appear. This option creates a new panel where you can save this date and important information. As a result, events can be created without the need to manually copy details between applications.
Finally, Google has integrated Google Lens into the new tab page on Chrome for searching for newly captured photos and existing images in your camera roll. This allows iPhone users to benefit from the Google Lens service through Chrome.
With all these updates, Google aims to attract more iPhone users to the Chrome application. What are your thoughts on the updates made to the Google Chrome application developed for iOS devices? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
