We know that Google is making final preparations for the stable Android 14 release. Android 14 was expected to be released in mid-September. However, new reports have revealed that the operating system will be delayed by a month or so. When is the Android 14 release date?
Android 14 release date is October 4?
A Twitter user who makes important posts about Android claimed that Google made a last minute decision. Accordingly, the launch of Android 14 was postponed to October 4.
It claimed that the vulnerability package mentioned in the Android 14 release notes will be released on October 4. He stated that this date is the new release date of the stable version. More importantly, on October 4, Google will introduce the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models. Android 14 may be unveiled with the Made By Google launch.
If there hadn’t been a delay, it seems likely that Android 14 would have been released in mid-September. Although Google has not officially announced a launch date, many manufacturers believe that the stable version should have been released already.
Google’s decision is likely to challenge some manufacturers. OnePlus, for example, was planning to launch OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 on September 25. The official release of Android 14 on October 4 may cause OnePlus to delay its release until then.
Android 14 comes with advanced multitasking, customizable lock screen and advanced privacy controls.
