Following the Gemini 2.5 artificial intelligence model introduced last month, Google announced Gemini 2.5 Flash, a new version of the same series that is faster and more economical. The new model has started to be used on the company’s Vertex AI platform for developers.
Google Gemini 2.5 Flash has been officially introduced
Gemini 2.5 Flash reduces processing time and costs with its small size. The structure of the model is based on reasoning ability similar to OpenAI’s o3-mini and DeepSeek’s R1 models.
The Flash model consumes less resources compared to the Pro versions while still maintaining advanced thinking capabilities. At the center of the model is a technology called “dynamic thinking”. This system determines how much processing power the artificial intelligence will use to carry out the given command.

While faster response production is possible in simple requests, deep analysis can be done in complex situations. Developers can also manage this thinking process manually. Thus, performance can be optimized according to needs.
In addition, the Gemini 2.5 Pro model is still used in different areas. Google has integrated this model with its artificial intelligence tool called Deep Research. Deep Research is an advanced system that investigates a topic in detail and produces long reports.
It was stated that there was a significant increase in accuracy rates and content quality thanks to the 2.5 Pro, which replaced the Gemini 2.0 Pro used in the previous version. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your views with us in the comments section below.
