Google has added two new features to its artificial intelligence assistant Gemini: ‘Audio Overview’ and “Canvas”. With these features, users will be able to convert documents into audio podcasts and create content in an interactive environment.
Google Gemini introduced two new features
‘Audio Overview’ enables the creation of a short summary of any document by being voiced by artificial intelligence. Users can voice their documents with two different AI voice options offered by the system.

This innovative feature can be accessed through the ‘Audio Overview’ option in Gemini’s suggestion bar. The technology, which was previously available on Google’s NotebookLM service, is now available to all Gemini users and can be used without the need for a paid plan. However, only English language support is available for now. Google announced that different languages will be added in the future.
‘Canvas’, another feature added to Gemini, provides an interactive workspace. Users can change the tone, length and format of texts on this platform. Canvas, which also offers coding support for developers, enables rapid prototyping for web applications, Python scripts and game projects. Prepared works can also be transferred directly to Google Docs.
Audio Overview and Canvas are currently available for all Gemini users. Audio Overview only supports English, while Canvas is available in all languages. Google management states that these innovations will make content production and collaboration more efficient. What do you think about this issue?
