Tech giant Google continues to evolve the AI experience. The company is now rolling out the Google Gemini Personal Intelligence feature—which allows the chatbot to pull data from other Google apps to generate personalized responses—to its free user base.
Premium Feature Now Available to All Users
Announced earlier this year, this powerful personalization capability was initially reserved for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. However, according to the new announcement, all users in the U.S. can now begin experiencing this feature for free.

You can activate this innovation immediately via AI Mode. To enable the system, simply tap your profile, navigate to Search Personalization and Connected Content Apps, and then link Workspace and Google Photos.
Coming to Chrome and Mobile Apps
The development team will begin rolling out this feature to free Gemini app users in the U.S. in the coming weeks. Expected to reach global users shortly after, this update will also soon be accessible directly through the Chrome browser.
How Does It Simplify Daily Life?
Google shared several practical examples of how this system functions. For instance, when asking for holiday help, the AI won’t just provide a generic route; it will analyze data across your apps to create a plan tailored to your interests. Additionally, if you’re trying to fix a broken device but can’t remember the model, Gemini can retrieve the specific info from invoices or order emails in your Gmail to offer instant solutions.
Importantly, the Personal Intelligence feature is disabled by default. The chatbot will not access your personal data unless you manually enable this setting. Furthermore, this personalization is currently only available for individual accounts; Workspace Business, Enterprise, and Education accounts are not included in this rollout for now.
