Google has introduced a new memory feature to Gemini, allowing users to easily access their previous conversations. With this update, Gemini can remember details from past chats and use them in new responses.
Gemini Now Remembers Previous Conversations!
According to Google’s announcement, when users ask follow-up questions about previously discussed topics or request a summary of past chats, Gemini will recall relevant conversations and generate responses accordingly.

Until now, users had to manually find and open past chats when they wanted to reuse information from previous conversations. This process was especially cumbersome when trying to recall older discussions or locate specific details, as Gemini did not have a built-in search function for chat history.
The new memory feature not only enables faster access to previous conversations but also allows users to pin important chats. This eliminates the need to repeatedly search for frequently used or significant discussions.
This update is particularly valuable for users who seek emotional support or use Gemini for more personal purposes. Chatbots with memory systems are known to be widely preferred, with virtual companionship apps like Nomi serving as a prime example.
For now, Google’s new memory feature is only available in English and is accessible to Google One AI Premium subscribers. Currently, it is limited to the web and mobile platforms, but Google plans to expand it with more language support and availability for Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users in the future.
