Google has integrated a new feature called “Search Live” into its search engine. Based on the company’s Gemini artificial intelligence model, this system allows users to chat with AI directly via Google. The feature is currently available to test users in the US via Google Labs.
Google is integrating the Search Live feature into its search engine
Search Live uses Google’s special Gemini version that can perform real-time internet searches. While users are talking to AI, they can search the internet in the background and the results are presented simultaneously with voice responses.

The chat does not stop even when the application switches to another tab. The feature also provides a simultaneous text transcript of conversations, allowing users to follow up in writing. In addition to voice responses, users can also interact in writing.
The mobile application also includes camera support. Users can ask AI voice questions by pointing an object at the camera. However, this feature is currently active only in certain regions in the testing phase.
Google also states that Search Live is part of the search engine’s transformation process. Along with this feature, the company also plans to add an audio summary feature called “Audio Overviews” to search results. In this system, users will be able to access short audio summaries of written content.
Other major technology companies are also working on similar features. For example, OpenAI announced the Advanced Audio Mode for ChatGPT last year. What do you think about this? You can share your views with us in the comments section below.
