Turkcell announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Google Cloud. Google Cloud plans to establish a new cloud region in Turkey in collaboration with Turkcell. This step will strengthen Turkcell’s leadership in the data center and cloud sector by establishing a world-class digital infrastructure in Turkey; it will accelerate the digital transformation of companies and pave the way for AI-focused innovations.
With the new cloud region, Google Cloud’s high-performance, low-latency services will be available in Turkey. Advanced Google services in areas such as data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital business solutions will become accessible. This will enable companies, startups, and institutions of all sizes to innovate, scale, and operate more efficiently, while also strengthening Turkey’s digital ecosystem.
In addition to collaborating on the establishment of the Google Cloud Region, Turkcell will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the services offered in this region. With this strategic partnership, Turkcell is strengthening its vision of accelerating Turkey’s digital transformation and making our country a regional digital innovation hub.
