Google’s AI-powered learning platform NotebookLM will soon meet users as a mobile application. NotebookLM, which was launched as a web-based service in December 2023, has long been available via the browser.
Google is here with the NotebookLM application
The company decided to bring the platform to smartphones as we enter the summer season this year. The NotebookLM mobile application will officially be released on May 20, the first day of the Google I/O 2025 event.

Although NotebookLM seems like an academic tool, it actually works as a versatile AI assistant that everyone can use for their daily information needs. Users can perform operations such as summarizing, translation, question-answer, and in-text analysis on web pages, PDF files, text documents, or YouTube videos they upload to the system.
All of these functions are provided through a special interface that offers a user experience independent of the Gemini platform. With the new mobile application, all of these features will now be accessible from your pocket.
The pre-registration process has started for Android and iOS users on the App Store and Google Play. Google stated that the mobile version will include all the functions of the web version; thus, users will be able to work without interruption in any environment.
The launch of the mobile version of NotebookLM will also be part of Google’s strategy to bring its AI products to a wider audience. So what do you think about this application? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
