With the Made by Google event locked for August 20, the Pixel 10 series is basically already out in the open. From camera specs to charging tricks, nearly everything has leaked or been teased outright. Google has not officially confirmed the full spec sheet, but between its own promo shots and a steady stream of insider reports, the phone lineup is no longer a mystery.
Pixel 10 rumors suggest a serious camera upgrade

The base Pixel 10 is expected to bring a noticeable camera boost. According to known leaker Evan Blass, the phone will include three rear cameras: a 48 megapixel wide lens, a 13 megapixel ultrawide, and a new 10.8 megapixel telephoto shooter. Google’s promo images even show the triple camera setup on the back, making this the most advanced base Pixel yet.
The 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL models are rumored to go even further. They may pack a 50 megapixel wide lens, along with 48 megapixel sensors for both ultrawide and telephoto shots. These upgrades would keep the Pro models comfortably ahead in imaging, especially for users who rely on zoom and detail.
Pixel 10 colors are not playing it safe
Leaks from Android Headlines show both the standard and Pro models coming in four colors. The Pixel 10 will be available in Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Lemonade. That translates roughly to black, deep purple, light blue, and yellow. The Pro versions will come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade, which suggest black, white, gray, and a light green.
No surprise here, Google is sticking with names that feel more like tea flavors than tech.
Pixel 10 pricing leaks show no surprises
Despite the hardware changes, the Pixel 10 line is expected to match last year’s pricing. That means:
- Pixel 10 from $799 for 128GB, $899 for 256GB
- Pixel 10 Pro from $999 up to $1,449 depending on storage
- Pixel 10 Pro XL from $1,199 up to $1,549
So far, tariffs and component shifts have not pushed prices higher. That could change in future releases, but for now, the lineup stays consistent.
Rumors hint at magnetic charging and accessories
One of the most surprising leaks is that the Pixel 10 may support the Qi2 wireless charging standard. If true, the phone would come with built-in magnets for alignment, making it compatible with many MagSafe-style accessories. That includes wallets, mounts, and chargers.
Google may even launch a branded version called PixelSnap, according to reports. If the compatibility is real, Pixel users would be able to swap accessories with iPhone owners more easily. This would also mark a rare win for cross-platform convenience in mobile hardware.
Pixel 10 will likely run on a new Tensor chip
The new processor is expected to be the Tensor G5. This chip is reportedly built on a 3 nanometer process by TSMC and should offer better efficiency than the G4 used in the Pixel 9. Early benchmarks suggest it may not match the speed of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, but it should outperform the Gen 3 chip found in older flagships.
In typical Pixel fashion, raw speed is not the point. The Tensor series focuses on AI performance and on-device smarts that support voice, imaging, and predictive features. Early impressions hint that the G5 will be strong enough, even if it does not top the charts.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold might play it safe
Google dropped a teaser video for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold on August 12. From the looks of it, the design stays close to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which already moved to a narrower format similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold line.
Rumors suggest it will share the same processor as the rest of the Pixel 10 series and possibly get the same minor camera upgrades. The phone is expected to ship with Android 16, though many existing devices already have that update.
Google is no longer even trying to hide its new smartphone
At this point, the Pixel 10 lineup feels more revealed than rumored. Google has made little effort to conceal its plans, and most of the leaks have been spot on. The only unknowns left are the exact features that will land in each tier.
August 20 will settle the last remaining questions. Until then, the leaks keep leaking.
Some phones launch with mystery. Pixel 10 launches with receipts.
