Affordable Google Pixel 9a announced
Pixel 9a has similar design lines with other Pixel 9 series models. The device has flat edges with aluminium frames and a screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back panel is made of flat polycarbonate material, unlike the round-edged design of the Pixel 8a. In addition, the product offers water and dust resistance with IP68 certification.

The phone comes with a 6.3-inch 120 Hz pOLED display with a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels. Offering 1800 nits brightness in HDR content, the screen can reach a maximum of 2700 nits. There is also an optical fingerprint reader under the screen.
Pixel 9a is powered by Google’s self-developed Tensor G4 processor. The device offers 8 GB RAM and two different storage options, 128 GB and 256 GB. Significant changes stand out on the camera side.
The 64 MP main camera in the Pixel 8a has been replaced by a new 48 MP sensor with Quad PD Dual Pixel AF and OIS support. This camera can record 4K video up to 60 fps. The ultra-wide-angle camera and front camera have a resolution of 13 MP and use the same sensor as the previous model.
New photography features include Macro Focus and Astrophotography mode, the first time these have been added to an A-series phone. Pixel 9a, whose battery capacity is determined as 5100 mAh, offers more than 30 hours of usage time. In addition to 23W wired fast charging support, Qi wireless charging at 7.5W is also available.
Pixel 9a, which comes out of the box with Android 15 operating system, will receive 7 years of operating system and security updates offered by Google. The device was released in four different colour options, Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony. So what do you think about this product?
