Introducing the Google Pixel Watch 2
Tech giant Google recently released a new teaser video via X (formerly known as Twitter), showcasing the Google Pixel Watch 2. This video allows us to take a closer look at the smartwatch, generating excitement among enthusiasts.
When we take a look at the design of the Pixel Watch 2 in the video, we can say that there isn’t a significant difference compared to the first-generation Pixel Watch introduced last year. According to previously leaked information, this year’s model will use an aluminum body instead of stainless steel.
On the other hand, while the first Pixel Watch featured the Exynos 9110 processor from Samsung, the Pixel Watch 2 is said to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset. It will be accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
Furthermore, in the 41 mm version, which is the smallest size, it is expected to have a 306 mAh battery, with Wireless (Qi) charging support. The smartwatch will run on the Android Wear OS 4 operating system and feature a 1.2-inch AMOLED display. Of course, it’s worth noting that all these specifications are based on leaks.
According to an announcement made by Google a few days ago, the Pixel Watch 2 will be unveiled on October 10th at 10.00 AM time. Pre-orders will be available on the Google Store afterwards.
