Google Pixel 6a melted while charging
According to the news shared by Android Authority, a user named Arielle plugged her Google Pixel 6a into a third-party charger before going to sleep at night. However, she woke up a few hours later to an overheating warning on her smartphone.

Immediately after the warning, Arielle heard a popping sound and then started to smell a burning smell. Unfortunately, there was not much to do at this point. Because the Google Pixel 6a melted while charging and became completely unusable. In fact, when we look at the images shared by the user, we see that the phone’s screen has separated from its casing due to the severity of the melting.
The user also states that the device has even stuck to his clothes that were right next to the casing due to the melting. This naturally increases the question marks regarding the Pixel 6a model to a great extent.
The user immediately reported the situation to the Google support team after the incident. The company contacted the user shortly after and expressed their sadness for what happened. They also stated that they would give the user a Pixel 8a as a gift due to the damage. They asked him to send the melted Pixel 6a phone to them for examination.
