What is Google’s Chromebook X program?

Currently, Chromebook models support AMD Zen 2 and Zen 3 or 12th Generation Intel Core processors. Google, on the processor side, may include budget-friendly options and prioritize quality over high price tags for Chromebook X.

While an exact release date has not been announced, the Chromebook X program is expected to be shared before the end of the year. The program will encompass existing Chromebooks that meet the necessary criteria, providing a wide range of options.
