Google has finally announced a long-awaited update to its Gemini AI model. Gemini’s new model was previously only available in the desktop version. As of now, the Google Gemini 2.0 Flash model is also available on Android. So why is this model so important? Which advantages does it have? Details are in our news…
Google Gemini 2.0 Flash Android is now available in the app
The new version is first available to Beta users. The Gemini 2.0 Flash model includes different features from other models. In fact, we can say that Gemini 2.0 Flash Experimental represents the newest and experimental version of Google’s artificial intelligence algorithms. The models that come with the update include the following:
- 1.5 Pro: Focused on solving complex tasks.
- 1.5 Flash: Generally very helpful in daily activities.
- 2.0 Flash Experimental: The latest experimental model; a preview of future developments.
After the update, Android users will be able to choose between these models from the menu at the top of the app. It’s important to note: Google warns users that this experimental version may work in unexpected ways. Also, the model does not currently support file uploads.
According to Google, the 2.0 Flash Experimental is twice as fast as the 1.5 Pro. In other words, it offers significant advantages, especially for users who want speed and efficiency in daily use. We expect the beta tests to be completed in a short time. Because, according to the information we received, the model is expected to be included in the stable version before the end of the year.
At the moment, there is no information about when these innovations will come to the iOS app. However, Android users are already getting access to these new features.
