Gemini 1.5 Pro represents a big leap forward in natural language processing. The model can process up to 1 million tokens, much larger than previous versions. According to Google, this means it can process an hour of video, 11 hours of audio, and a file containing more than 30,000 lines of code.
In Google’s own tests, the AI was able to successfully process more than 10 million coins. A page demonstrating Gemini 1.5 Pro’s capabilities revealed that it could summarize the 1300-page novel War and Peace in just 305 seconds.
Gemini 1.5 Pro is currently available completely free of charge. You must first go to this Google page and sign in with a Google account. You will then be granted access to the AI through the platform.
However, it is important to remember that the model is still in the testing phase and may give incorrect answers. In this context, Google also said that it will monitor the results received by users and improve the AI model accordingly.
Google has also started offering an API for developers to directly access Gemini 1.5 Pro in AI Studio. This means that Gemini 1.5 Pro can be used in various applications.
