Introduced by Google in May, the new video creation model, Veo 3, has been highly acclaimed since its launch and is even starting to be used for movies. This weekend, Google allowed users to try Veo 3 for free through Gemini. Here are the details about Google Veo 3.
Veo 3 Support on Google Gemini
Last week, Google announced that it was making the Veo 3 available through Gemini. Starting in July, Google AI Pro subscribers can create three Veo 3 Fast videos per day. AI Ultra customers have unlimited access to the full model and the photo-to-video creation feature.

With the new campaign, free Gemini users are entitled to create three Veo 3 videos until 10:00 PM on Sunday. Gemini manager Josh Woodward stated that Google has deployed a ton of TPUs for the free trial of Veo 3, which can only create eight-second videos.
Free users have access to Veo 3 Fast, which creates videos twice as fast while maintaining the same 720p resolution. You might see a notification about this feature when you open the Gemini app today. If not, you can access the new “Video: Create with Veo” option by tapping the three-dot menu in the command bar.
To create a video, your command must “define a scene and add details such as visual style and background music.” You can also specify dialogue and background noise. The video creation process will take a few minutes, and users will be able to download the watermarked clip (the “Veo” logo in the bottom right corner) or receive a shareable link.
