GoPro Max 2 360 has been unveiled with 8K resolution!

GoPro has announced its newest action camera, the GoPro Max 2 360, with its top-tier features. Here are the details and features.

GoPro has officially announced the Max2 360, the successor to the Max 360, ending the wait for 360-degree action cameras. Along with this launch, the company also introduced the Lit Hero, a new compact action camera, and the Fluid Pro AI, an AI-powered multi-camera gimbal. Here are the details.

The new GoPro Max2 360 stands out with its 1/2.3-inch sensor and can record 360-degree video at 8K resolution and 30 fps. This offers a 21 percent higher resolution than its competitors, taking image quality to the next level. 10-bit recording and GP-log support are also a major advantage for professional users.

The device can capture 29-megapixel photos in 360 format and features Max HyperSmooth stabilization and 360-degree horizon stabilization. One of the most important features is its tool-free, easily interchangeable lens. This allows users to continue shooting without having to replace the entire camera if the lens is damaged. The device offers a rich audio experience with six microphones and Bluetooth audio support.

Mounting options are also quite diverse: a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount, foldable fingers found on all new GoPros, and the new magnetic latch system introduced with the Hero 13 Black. The 195-gram camera is waterproof to 5 meters and features built-in GPS. Features such as AI-powered object tracking and cloud-based editing are also available through the GoPro Quik app.

In addition to its 360-degree camera, GoPro has also introduced the Lit Hero, the successor to last year’s compact Hero camera. This new model comes with a built-in light with three different brightness levels.

Able to shoot 4K 60 fps video and 2x slow-motion video, the camera is also capable of capturing 12MP photos. Features like interchangeable lenses, built-in thumbsticks, a standard 1/4-20 tripod socket, and a magnetic mounting system are also available. The Lit Hero, featuring HyperSmooth video stabilization, weighs 93 grams, is waterproof to 5 meters, and comes with a 1,225 mAh enduro battery.

GoPro’s latest product unveiled is the Fluid Pro AI multi-camera gimbal. Thanks to its AI-powered object tracking feature, it can be used with GoPro cameras, smartphones, and compact cameras weighing up to 400 grams. The gimbal, which offers three-axis stabilization, forward- and rear-facing object tracking, and an integrated fill light, is claimed to have a battery life of up to 18 hours.

Here are the pricing and options:

    • GoPro Max2 360: The device is available for pre-order at $499.99, with shipments scheduled to begin on September 30th.
    • GoPro Lit Hero: Priced at $269.99, the camera will be available on October 21st.
