NEW:
- The game can now detect, on startup, if the save file is corrupted or can’t be loaded (this may happen for various causes, power outage during saving, closing the game during saving, game crash, Steam Cloud Save service failure, hard disk error, etc.).
If this happens, you will be asked if you want to try to restore a backup, create a fresh save file, or ignore this and try to fix it manually – usually by trying to go to Graphics Options in the game and clicking “Reset” – although it might not help if the file is corrupted (has 0 kb due to write error, for example).
