Hello Neighbor is a survival horror stealth video game developed by Russian studio Dynamic Pixels and published by tinyBuild. Initially released as public alphas from 2016 to 2017, it received a full release for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on December 8, 2017, and later for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android on July 26, 2018. General Fixes
- The water texture in the bathtub in the Mayor’s house now displays correctly when “RTX Shadows” setting is ON.
- The problem of random inventory items spawning and floating inside the cage after the Attic Cage cutscene has been corrected.
- The issue where the first item picked in the attic cage was lost after performing ‘Load Last Save’ has been resolved.
- Players can now successfully skip cutscenes by holding the skip button at the start of any cutscene.
- The rendering issue with wooden planks on the ground near the Sawmill has been fixed, eliminating black lines when moving back & forth.
- The lift jitter during ascend/descend animations after interacting with the Lift Lever in the Church has been stabilized.
- The issue with the opened camera crate closing automatically and becoming unopenable when the player stands behind it with a Police NPC in front has been fixed.
Late Fees Fixes
- The issue preventing the opening of the door from the basement in the Late Fees DLC has been resolved.
- The missing background music after the player is caught by the NPC in the ‘Late Fees’ has been restored.
- The spade book now remains accessible and does not respawn on the fountain after performing Load Last Save and then getting caught by the librarian.
Back to School Fixes
- The camera rotation issue after accessing the telescope in science class has been fixed.
- The random crashes occurring when the player roams around the school after picking the flag pole key in ‘Back to School’ DLC have been addressed.
- The issue with delayed texture loading before the start of the School Intro cutscene has been rectified.
- The camera obstruction by the Van during the End cutscene at School has been fixed.
- The Janitor now consistently maintains interest in the player and will catch them when trying prompted to.
