Doom: The Dark Ages gets a major update
During QuakeCon, Bethesda also rolled out Update 2 for Doom: The Dark Ages. The patch adds free content, fixes numerous bugs, and improves quality of life. A standout addition is the Ripatorium, an endless arena mode with customizable waves and time-limit challenges.
Rewards for playing the new content
Jump into the game before September 2 to earn two free skins. Completing all three new arenas in the Ripatorium will unlock the Perfection Doom Slayer skin.
A legacy revived for a new audience
With Heretic + Hexen now running flawlessly on modern systems and Doom: The Dark Ages receiving fresh content, Bethesda is keeping its shooter heritage in the spotlight. The combination of nostalgia, technical polish, and new modes offers something for both long-time fans and players discovering these series for the first time.
