Bigme has unveiled the HiBreak Pro Color, a compact smartphone that blends E Ink display tech with full Android functionality and 5G support.
HiBreak Pro Color features a color-capable E Ink screen
The main upgrade to this new HiBreak Pro is the addition of a color E Ink display. Measuring 6.13 inches, the screen maintains 300 PPI in grayscale and drops to 150 PPI when showing color. It’s not built for video, but for reading; it excels, especially outdoors.
This display tech is known for its efficiency. Combined with a 4,500 mAh battery, users can expect excellent battery life. Front lighting helps it stay usable in low-light settings as well.
GTA 6 might not hit its May 2026 release date, with insider whispers pointing to a holiday launch instead. Nothing’s confirmed, yet.

Despite its niche display, the HiBreak Pro Color isn’t short on features. It includes:

E Ink limits motion, but boosts usability
E Ink’s biggest strength is readability in sunlight and energy savings. Of course, animations and video aren’t smooth on this type of display. Still, for users looking to reduce distractions or prioritize battery life, it’s a fair tradeoff.

It is up for pre-order through Bigme’s official store. It’s priced at $399.99 before shipping, with deliveries scheduled for early October.
