Hisense has now officially confirmed the full specifications for its 2025 U7QG Mini LED 4K Google TV series, following earlier confusion over panel types and dimming zones. First unveiled in March and available for pre-order since April, the series spans six sizes from 55 to a massive 116 inches.

For weeks, reports conflicted on what panels Hisense used across its new U7 lineup. That debate has ended. According to Display Specifications, Hisense USA verified the details, confirming the following setup:

    • 55-inch (55U75QG): IPS-ADS Pro panel
    • 65–116-inch: VA panels

While IPS-ADS Pro offers better viewing angles, it typically falls short in contrast compared to VA panels, which most users prefer for deeper blacks in dark rooms.

Here’s the official breakdown of local dimming zones per model:

    • 55U75QG – 1,260 zones
    • 65U75QG – 1,800 zones
    • 75U75QG – 2,340 zones
    • 85U75QG – 2,940 zones
    • 100U75QG – 2,304 zones
    • 116U75QG – 3,168 zones

The U7QG series supports 4K resolution, delivers up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and runs a native 165Hz refresh rate. Users can also take advantage of display modes like IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode, and Dolby Vision IQ for varied content calibration preferences.

Gamers haven’t been left behind. The U7QG includes:

    • Game Accelerator 288Hz (for ultra-low latency modes)
    • Game Mode Ultra (native 165Hz support)
    • AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification

Each model is equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and 2.1.2 channel integrated speakers, rounding out a full feature set for modern use cases.

All models run on Google TV, which offers access to most major streaming platforms and voice assistant features. Combined with high-end display hardware, the U75QG series positions itself as a serious option for users looking for premium home entertainment at multiple sizes.
