Chinese smartphone manufacturers continue to offer alternatives to Apple’s tight ecosystem. This trend, which started with Oppo’s O+ Connect feature, is now moving to a new dimension with Honor. According to the information conveyed, the company will introduce its new technology called AI Connect at MWC 2025. Here are the details…
Honor announces its new feature that will integrate with iOS
Honor is preparing to sign a major innovation at the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC). The company announced its new AI Connect feature, which will be able to establish a cross-connection with iOS devices as part of its comprehensive project called “Alpha Plan”. Honor stated in its post on X (formerly Twitter) that this technology will offer better integration with the Apple ecosystem.

Although the details are not clear at the moment, AI Connect is expected to work similarly to Oppo’s O+ Connect system. In other words, users will be able to transfer files between iPhone and Honor devices faster and easier, and perhaps access additional functions such as remote desktop connection. Due to Apple’s closed ecosystem, such operations were usually carried out through third-party applications or cloud services until now. Honor’s new solution aims to overcome these obstacles directly from within the system.
The company’s hints indicate that AI Connect can be integrated with the existing Honor Share file sharing system. If this happens, Honor users will be able to share content seamlessly with their Apple devices. AI Connect will be offered together with Honor’s other AI-focused projects, AI Safety and AI Upscale.
Honor will announce all the details of this new technology at the MWC 2025 event to be held in Barcelona on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 16:30. While major changes are taking place in the smartphone world, Honor’s approach to the Apple ecosystem is being followed carefully.
