Honor has launched the Honor Watch X5 smartwatch in China alongside the new Honor 500 smartphone series. This new wearable, with a moderate price tag, comes with a wealth of features that will delight users. It is fully compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems.

The smartwatch features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display. This display offers a 60Hz refresh rate and supports Always-On Display. The Honor Watch X5’s durability is also quite good for its segment. The device is IP68 certified and can be used underwater up to 5ATM. The watch weighs only 29 grams excluding the strap.

For connectivity, the device utilizes Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC technologies. One of the Honor Watch X5’s standout features is its built-in GPS chip, allowing users to calculate routes for outdoor activities without needing their phones.
The smartwatch is also equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker. Thanks to these features, users can make voice calls through the watch. The device also tracks a wide range of data in real time thanks to its advanced health sensors.

However, when high-power features like voice calling and the always-on display are activated, this battery life drops to less than 5 days.
