Due to the embargo imposed by the US on Huawei, smart phones, tablets, and other products released after May 16, 2019 do not come with Google services. However, it is still possible to install them after purchase, thanks to the advantages offered by the Android ecosystem. We are sharing our guide on how to install Google services on Huawei phones with you.
Installing Google services on Huawei phones! Step by step
After the embargo, Google made its applications and services available only on devices that have the Play Protect certification. However, since Google and Huawei are not allowed to collaborate, Huawei phones do not have this certification. Therefore, when you unbox your phone, you won’t find Google Mobile Services (GMS) installed.
On the other hand, it is possible to download and use almost all applications on Android devices using the APK file installation method. However, we do not recommend this method because you cannot verify the reliability of the sources and files you download.
Instead, you can follow the step-by-step guide below to install Google services, including Google Play Store, and all games and applications on your Huawei device. However, keep in mind that certain platforms like Netflix, which require special certification, may not work efficiently on the device unless they are optimized.
